Calculation of the compliance distance as per reference levels in the 1998 ICNIRP Guidelines for general public exposure to EMF from 10 MHz to 300 GHz

Based on Table 7 of the ICNIRP GUIDELINES FOR LIMITING EXPOSURE TO TIME-VARYING ELECTRIC, MAGNETIC AND ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELDS (UP TO 300 GHZ), HEALTH PHYSICS 74 (4):494-522; 1998

The coding is based on the method described in the Technical notes in the Annex of the Ofcom EMF Calculator (trial version 0.1.2) Excel spreadsheet program.

Although the results produced by this calculator are expected to be the same as those produced by the Ofcom EMF Calculator, this calculator has not been approved by and has not been endorsed by Ofcom.

The Ofcom EMF Calculator Excel spreadsheet contains instructions for use and technical notes incuding limitations of the calculator.
