UUID Decode checks Universally Unique Identifiers (UUIDs) based on the ITU-T X.667 - UUID Version 1 specification.
Enter a string into the first (UUID) field, then press the RETURN or ENTER key. If the string is not a valid UUID, a message to that effect is displayed in the fourth (Message) field
If the UUID contains a creation time, the time is displayed in the second (UUID Creation Time) field in a readable format.
The third field displays the version and variant properties of the UUID in the format version (variant:variant-type).
The UUID Creation Time display can be chosen to be in Local Time or in Universal Coordinated Time (UTC/GMT) and in 12-hour or 24-hour format.
The Allowed Variants popup menu can be used to set the types of UUID that the widget is to regard as valid.
